Cleanse and moisturize your face. Makeup is more easily applied to a face that has been freshly cleaned, moisturized and dried.
Apply foundation to areas on your face that need evening out. Kirsten Dunst does not apply a heavy amount of foundation nor does she apply it to her entire face. Use concealer around your eyes to cover any dark circles, if necessary. Kirsten Dunst also uses a light coat of concealer on her eyelids as a base for her eye shadow. Use pressed powder, in a coordinating shade to your foundation, over your entire face.
Dust either a pink or rose colored blush on your cheeks and blend. Kirsten Dunst applies her blush higher on her cheekbones, but if your face is fuller, you should concentrate the color on the apples of your cheeks.
Apply a lavender eye shadow to your entire eyelid and highlight the brow bone area with a gold eye shadow. Kirsten Dunst often uses a light sweep of gold eye shadow on her lower lash, also.
Line your upper and lower lids with a thin line of eyeliner. Kirsten Dunst takes a sponge or soft brush and softens her lines by running the sponge or brush over them gently. Curl your upper lashes only. Apply two or three coats of black lash thickening mascara to both your upper and lower lashes.
Use an eyebrow pencil or powder that is a shade darker than your hair color. Use it to bring out the arch of your eyebrow and fill in the rest, as needed.
Finish by using one of Kirsten Dunst's favorite tricks. Brush your lips gently with a toothbrush and apply a coat of petroleum jelly and let it sit for 30 or more minutes. This makes your lips very smooth. Apply the lipstick in light layers then apply some clear lip gloss.
