How to Make Movie Entrance Logos

You can create movie-entrance logos for school, work, or family and friends, to accompany the movie you have created. You can brand your company identity and make a recognizable logo that people will remember. Movie-entrance logos can be visually appealing or can detract from a company. Choosing the right colors for your logo is as important as designing the logo. Creating the right kind of logo for your company may bring you offers for work.

      Draw your logo idea on paper using your pencil or pen. Color your logo idea using your colored pencils or markers.

      Open your graphics design program. A pop-up will appear. Select 720 by 480 as your aspect from the "Size" drop-down menu. Change your dpi (dots per inch) to 300. The closer the dots (pixels) are to each other the crisper your image will be. Select your color range as either RGB or CMYK. RGB stands for red, green and blue. When mixed together they make a wide variety of colors. CMYK stands for cyan, magenta, yellow, and the key color, black. These are pre-made colors that a variety of colors are made from when mixed together. Click "OK."

      Click the "Window" tab and turn on your "Layers," "Tools,and "Options" windows. Your "Layers" window is where your drawn images, typed words, or imported files are kept. Layers are images on top of one another. Your "Tools" window is where you will find all the tools to create your logo. Your "Options" window will be located at the top of your workspace and contains the shortcuts for your tools.

      Reference your drawn logo to create your computer-created logo.

      Click on your "Type" tool to create your logo name. The "Type" tool can be identified as the uppercase "T" in your tools window. Choose your font and font size in your options window.

      Click on the color box to choose your font color. A pop-up will appear. Choose your color.

      Type your logo name on your workspace. This will create a new layer in your "Layers" window.

      Choose your shape color. Click the color boxes at the bottom of your tools window. A pop-up will appear. Pick your color using the color picker (circle icon) by dragging the icon between the color ranges.

      Draw your logo images using basic shapes. Click on your "Rectangle" tool in your Tools window. Choose your shape from the drop down menu. Choose the "Custom Shape" to choose shapes like arrows, shapes with borders, or other specialized shapes.

      Continue creating your logo by adding more shapes and titles. Delete any unwanted layer by dragging the layer to the "Garbage Can" icon at the bottom of your Layers window.

      Save your file when you are finished.

      Flatten your image to condense your image file size and combine all your layers. Click your "Image" tab and select "Flatten."

      Save the flattened image under a different name to preserve the layer so you can edit it in the future.
