Yes. A N.W.A biopic is in the works, and has been named Straight Outta Compton. As of September 2014, the film is in production, with F. Gary Gray directing. The film stars O'Shea Jackson Jr., Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, and Aldis Hodge as Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, and MC Ren, respectively. Filming began on August 18, 2014 in Los Angeles, and continued through into December. The film will depict the rise and fall of N.W.A. and will feature some of their most iconic songs. The film will be released on August 14, 2015.
