How come most of the characters in watchmen have superpowers but one scene you can clearly see an umbrella floating unsupported behind silk spectre?

The umbrella in the movie Watchmen is not floating unsupported behind Silk Spectre. It is actually being held up by her assistant/lover and The Comedian's brother, Hooded Justice, who is standing just out of frame.
