Select a spot for the title in your movie. Follow the instructions in the toolbar or the viewer window where your movie clips are. The default for most programs is to place the titles before the movie, on a black screen. However, you can also place the title over the first clip of the movie, or at the end of the movie.
Type the title of your movie in the text window. You can make the title as long as you wish. After typing in the title, you can change how it will appear in the movie.
Select a style for the title. The options will be listed in the toolbar or in a drop-down menu. You can center the title or make it move across the screen. You can also add transition effects, such as dissolves and fades.
Edit the title text if necessary. Follow the instructions in the toolbar, or drop-down menu, to open the text window. This is where you can change the size and font of your title.
Add your title to the movie by selecting the appropriate button. It will be marked "Done" or "Update." The title will now appear in the movie.
