Open your movie extractor program. Select "Add Files." Select all of the files that begin with "VTS_." Click on "Open."
In the "Segment" tab, select the "Video Title Set." Click on "Select File Group." You will only be able to select one "Video Title Set" at a time. Select "End Point." Choose the highest "Chapter" number. Choose the highest "timecode."
Select the "Video" tab. For "Video Stream," select "Main Video Stream." For "Decoding," select "Decode To QuickTime." For "Decoding Mode," select "Automatic Selection." For "Compression Codec," select "Custom," then select "HDV 1080p24." For "Codec Setting," select "Maximum Quality." For "Aspect Ratio," select "Automatic Adjustment."
Click on the "Audio" tab. For "Audio Stream," select "Audio 1." For "Decoding," select "Decode To AIFF Format." For "Downmixing," select "2 Channel Dolby Stereo." For "Dynamic Range," select "Full Dynamic Range."
Click on the "Output" tab. For "Save QuickTime As," select "Self-Contained, Files With All Data." For "Synchronization," select "Offest and Trim." For "Ouput Format," select "iPod Movie File" if your final output is iPod or iPhone for your .M4V file. Select "Apple TV Movie File" if your final output is for Apple TV.
Select "Extract Data." Save the file. Once rendering is complete, your Blu-Ray movie will be converted to an Apple TV, iPhone or iPod .M4V file.
