When did Walt Disney make the multiplane camera?

Walt Disney didn't actually invent the multiplane camera. The concept was developed by Ub Iwerks, a Disney animator who was instrumental in many early Disney innovations.

While Iwerks developed the concept, it was Walt Disney who championed the technology and saw its potential for creating more depth and realism in animation. Disney's studio further refined and perfected the multiplane camera, which became a defining feature of Disney animation for decades.

It's important to distinguish between the invention of the technology and its implementation and refinement, which is where Disney's contribution shines through.
