Does a movie producer write the script?

A movie producer typically does not write the script for a movie. Instead, screenwriters are hired to write the screenplay. Screenwriters are individuals with significant writing experience specifically tailored toward creating narratives for the film and television industries. They are responsible for developing original stories, adapting existing works, and transforming ideas into compelling visual narratives. While a movie producer may contribute suggestions or provide feedback during the script development process, they primarily focus on other aspects of filmmaking, such as securing financing, managing the production process, and overseeing the completion of the film.
