The winner of the season, Scotty McCreery, performed on the tour along with the other eleven contestants from the top 12. One other contestant, Casey Abrams, was removed by the producers prior to the start of the tour.

The tour began in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 6, 2011, and ended in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 1. The tour was divided into two legs, with the first leg consisting of 31 shows in North America and the second leg consisting of 11 shows in Asia.
