How did jade goody get famous?

Jade Goody rose to fame in the United Kingdom after appearing on the third season of the reality TV show Big Brother in 2002. She and fellow housemate, PJ Ellis, were often referred to as the "dumb blondes" for their perceived lower intelligence and outspoken personalities. Goody created controversy during her stay in the Big Brother house due to her excessive drinking, smoking and language.
