What awards did Frankenstein win?

"Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley did not win any awards because the modern concept of literary awards did not exist when the book was published in 1818.

It's important to remember that literary awards are a relatively recent phenomenon. There were no Nobel Prizes in Literature, Pulitzer Prizes, or other prestigious awards in the early 19th century.

However, "Frankenstein" was a critical and commercial success upon publication and quickly gained recognition as a groundbreaking work of Gothic fiction.
