* Talking to him: You can visit Professor Oak at his lab in Pallet Town. He'll often comment on your journey and express his pride in your achievements, even without specifically showing him your badges.
* Winning the Kanto League: Once you become the Kanto Champion, Professor Oak will be very proud of you and acknowledge your accomplishment.
While you can't show him your badges directly, Professor Oak will still be aware of your progress and show his support throughout your journey.
