What was Martha main accomplishment?
Martha's main accomplishment was that of hospitality: welcoming Jesus and His disciples in their home of Bethany. At Bethany, Jesus raised their brother Lazarus from the dead and Martha served a large meal in Jesus' honor. At that dinner Mary anointed Jesus' feet in an act of faith, which Martha scolded her for while serving the meal.
The sisters are also mentioned with their brother at a family dinner that Lazarus hosted before Jesus went to Jerusalem where he was soon killed. There again both sisters are found serving their guest, Jesus (John 12:1–3).
