Yes, a film adaptation of C.S. Lewis's novel The Magician's Nephew is in development. Plans for the film were first announced in 2018 by the production company Entertainment One (eOne). The film will be directed by Mark Gordon, who has previously worked on films such as The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (2018). Lewis's stepson, Douglas Gresham, will serve as an executive producer.

The film is expected to be a prequel to the 2005 film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, which was based on the first novel in Lewis's series. The Magician's Nephew tells the story of two children, Digory Kirke and Polly Plummer, who travel to other worlds through a magical wardrobe and meet Aslan, the lion who creates Narnia.
