Who made Pinocchio a boy?

Pinocchio was made by Geppetto, the woodcarver, in the story "The Adventures of Pinocchio" by Carlo Collodi.

While Geppetto carved Pinocchio out of wood, it was the Blue Fairy who gave him life and the potential to become a real boy.

So, although Geppetto created him, it was the Blue Fairy who gave him the chance to earn the ability to become a real boy.
