How did the insane clown posse meet?

The Insane Clown Posse (ICP) was founded by Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler in 1989 in Detroit, Michigan. Bruce and Utsler were lifelong friends who grew up in the same neighborhood and had a shared love of hip hop music. They started out performing at local clubs under different names, but eventually decided to form their own group and adopted the name Insane Clown Posse. The two began to produce their own music and put on shows in and around Detroit, gradually building a local following. Their first album, Carnival of Carnage, was released independently in 1992 and became a local success, selling over 10,000 copies in Detroit. The album's success led to ICP being signed to Jive Records, a major label, and they went on to release several more albums that achieved mainstream success. ICP is still active today and continues to tour and perform, as well as release new music and merchandise.
