How do you attach teletone taps?

Tools needed:

- Teletap Crimper

- Crossconnect wire

- Teletap (also known as a Bridged Tap or Capacitive Tap)

- Wire Strippers

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Determine the pair you want to tap. Using the Teletap crimper lift up and remove the desired terminal lid

2. Strip 1/2" of insulation off the end of the crossconnect wire

3. Insert the stripped wire into the terminal hole on the Teletap and push down until it clicks

4. Close the terminal lid

5. Repeat for the other wire on the pair

6. Connect other end of the crossconnect wire to your monitoring device
