Fly is only available in Pokemon Gold and Silver. In Crystal, the only flying move you can learn is Fly: a powerful move that allows you to fly to previously visited locations.
Here's how to learn Fly in Pokemon Crystal:
1. Obtain the HM02 (Fly) from the Goldenrod City Game Corner: This is a unique location where you can earn points to redeem for prizes, including HMs.
2. Go to the "Prize Corner" in the Game Corner and select the Fly HM.
3. Teach Fly to a compatible Pokemon: You can teach Fly to any Pokemon that can learn it. Some common Pokemon that learn Fly early are:
* Pidgeotto
* Pidgeot
* Charizard
* Skarmory
To use Fly, you need to learn the move and then access it via the menu:
1. Open your menu: Press the "Start" button.
2. Go to the "Items" tab.
3. Select "Fly."
4. Select a previously visited location.
Important Note: Fly only lets you travel to places you've already been. You can't use it to reach new areas.
