1. Choose Your Training Ground:
* Victory Road (Level 70-80): This is your primary training spot. You'll encounter Pokemon like Rhydon, Graveler, Snorlax, and more.
* Sevii Islands (Level 80-90): Venture here after beating the Elite Four. The Sevii Islands offer a great challenge with tougher Pokemon like Scyther, Alakazam, and even the rare Gyarados.
2. Focus on Type Advantages:
* Blastoise: Utilize his Water-type moves to train against Electric, Fire, and Ground-type Pokemon.
* Rhydon: Utilize his Ground/Rock-type moves to train against Flying, Electric, and Fire-type Pokemon.
* Pidgeot: Utilize his Flying/Normal-type moves to train against Grass and Fighting-type Pokemon.
* Arcanine: Utilize his Fire-type moves to train against Grass, Ice, Bug, and Steel-type Pokemon.
* Articuno: Utilize his Ice/Flying-type moves to train against Grass, Ground, and Fighting-type Pokemon.
* Exeggutor: Utilize his Grass/Psychic-type moves to train against Water, Electric, and Ground-type Pokemon.
3. Utilize Exp. Share:
* Equip the Exp. Share item to a Pokemon that's not actively battling. This allows all your Pokemon to gain experience, even those who aren't participating in the fight.
4. Prioritize Moves:
* Blastoise: Focus on powerful Water-type moves like Hydro Pump and Surf, and consider adding Thunderbolt for coverage.
* Rhydon: Focus on Earthquake, Rock Slide, and Stone Edge for powerful attacks.
* Pidgeot: Focus on Aerial Ace and Drill Peck.
* Arcanine: Focus on Flamethrower, Fire Blast, and Extreme Speed.
* Articuno: Focus on Blizzard, Ice Beam, and maybe Thunder for coverage.
* Exeggutor: Focus on Solarbeam, Psychic, and maybe Thunderbolt for coverage.
5. Level Up Your Team:
* Ideally, aim for levels 85-90 or higher for your team. It's important to have Pokemon at least as strong as the Elite Four's teams.
6. Remember, it's a Marathon, Not a Sprint:
* Training Pokemon can be time-consuming. Take breaks, explore different areas, and have fun with the journey!
Elite Four Preparation:
* Lance (Dragon): Prepare for a tough Dragon-type team. Arcanine and Articuno will be your key players.
* Bruno (Fighting): Rhydon and Exeggutor can handle most of Bruno's team.
* Karen (Ghost/Dark): Articuno, Blastoise, and Exeggutor can take on her Ghost/Dark-type Pokemon.
* Agatha (Ghost): Similar to Karen, Articuno, Blastoise, and Exeggutor will be your main counter.
* Will (Psychic): This is a tough battle, so be prepared with strong coverage moves like Thunderbolt from Blastoise or Exeggutor.
Important Note: These are just general guidelines. Feel free to experiment with your team and find what works best for you! Good luck with your training and conquering the Elite Four!
