How do you get your partner Pokemon on dungeons to stop following you?

You can't actually make your partner Pokemon stop following you in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. They are always with you, both in exploration and in the overworld.

However, you can change your partner Pokemon if you want to try a different one:

* Talk to your partner: They will offer to switch places with a different Pokemon, often based on their personality or the situation.

* Visit the Pokemon Center: You can change partners at the Pokemon Center.

* Obtain a new partner: You can find new partner Pokemon throughout the game by befriending them and meeting certain requirements.

Even though you can't make them stop following, your partner is a vital part of your team, providing support and assistance throughout your adventure!
