Can you tag battle in Pokemon Black?

You can't participate in Tag Battles in Pokemon Black.

Tag Battles were introduced in Pokemon Black 2 & White 2. These battles allow two trainers to team up and battle another pair of trainers, with each trainer controlling one Pokemon.

In Pokemon Black, you can only participate in standard single battles where you control one Pokemon against your opponent's single Pokemon.
