How do you catch aerodactyl in Pokemon diamond?

You can't catch Aerodactyl in Pokemon Diamond. Aerodactyl is a Fossil Pokemon that can only be revived from an Ancient Wing fossil in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.

However, you can catch a different flying Pokemon in Diamond, such as Starly, Staravia, and Staraptor. These Pokemon are available in the wild throughout the game.
