How does Danny get his powers?

Danny Fenton gains his superpowers after an accident in his parents' ghost portal, a machine designed to capture ghosts. During a visit to his parents' laboratory, where the portal is located, Danny accidentally activates it and becomes merged with ectoplasm, the substance that makes up ghosts. This fusion grants him a range of ghostly abilities, including intangibility, the power to fly, and the ability to shoot ecto-blasts from his hands. Additionally, Danny can possess other people and objects and has enhanced strength and agility.
