Who is Shade in the Sonic Hedgehog games?

Shade the Echidna is a character who first appeared in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series published by Archie Comics. She is an echidna who wears red sunglasses and has the power to teleport. She is originally from the future and comes to the present to help Sonic and his friends defeat Dr. Eggman. She later joins the Babylon Rogues, a group of treasure hunters, and helps them in their adventures.
