In the end, Charlie, his parents, and his grandparents move into Mr. Wonka's chocolate factory and they all live happily ever after. Charlie is made the heir to the factory because he is kind, honest, and respectful despite coming from a poor family, unlike the spoiled brats who came from rich families but ended up getting punished due to their bad character.
