He arrives at the church and rushes into the attic to confront the Demon. After a fierce battle, he manages to destroy it by driving a sword through its heart. With the Demon's defeat, Alice is finally free from the curse and the amulet shatters into pieces.
The movie ends with Alice and Jack reunited, embracing in the attic of the church, safe from the evil that had haunted them for so long.
