What happens to rose in Vampire Diaries?

In the television series "The Vampire Diaries," the character Rose has a few different storylines:

1. Introduction and Relationship with Damon Salvatore: Rose is introduced in Season 2 as a vampire who works for Elijah, an Original Vampire. She is sent to Mystic Falls to help Damon Salvatore obtain the moonstone. Rose and Damon's interactions initially show her as a confident, sarcastic, and cunning vampire. However, over time, they develop a sort of romantic connection.

2. Turning into a Human and Love for Damon: Rose expresses a desire to become human again and start a new life with Damon. Elijah and Klaus intervene, intending to ensure that their line survives, which means preventing Rose's transition into a human. Klaus compels her to return to Elijah's side.

3. Becoming Human: With Damon's help, Rose eventually achieves her dream of becoming human. She expresses gratitude to Damon for enabling her to choose her destiny, and they share a passionate moment.

4. Sacrificing Herself for Damon: Rose's happiness as a human is short-lived. Elijah tracks her down and, in an act of retaliation against Damon, bites her. Damon manages to save her with his vampire blood. However, Rose realizes that Elijah won't rest until she is out of the picture, so she makes the decision to sacrifice herself to protect Damon and his loved ones. She lets herself be captured by Elijah to give Damon time to escape.

5. Becoming a Guardian Vampire: After Rose dies, Damon learns that becoming a guardian vampire is part of the hunter's mark curse. As a result, Rose is resurrected as a guardian vampire and appears to guide and help Elena Gilbert, the latest bearer of the hunter's mark.

Rose's story showcases aspects of love, sacrifice, and the complexities of vampire existence within the larger narrative of "The Vampire Diaries."
