When we make attributions about other people's behavior, we tend to overestimate the role of their internal factors, such as their personality or abilities, and underestimate the role of external factors, such as the situation or environment.
For example, if someone is rude to us, we might think that they are a rude person, without considering that they might have been having a bad day or that they were under a lot of stress.
This tendency can lead to misunderstandings and conflict, as we may not be taking into account all of the relevant factors when we make judgments about other people.
