1. Ensure that the motor is disconnected from the power source.
2. Remove the cover of the motor terminal box.
3. Locate the six motor terminals. They will be labeled T1, T2, T3, U1, V1, and W1.
Step 2: Connect the Star (Wye) Configuration
1. Connect terminal T1 to terminal U1.
2. Connect terminal T2 to terminal V1.
3. Connect terminal T3 to terminal W1.
Step 3: Connect the Delta Configuration
1. Connect terminal U1 to terminal V2.
2. Connect terminal V1 to terminal W2.
3. Connect terminal W1 to terminal U2.
Step 4: Connect the Power Supply
1. Connect the L1 power supply wire to terminal T1.
2. Connect the L2 power supply wire to terminal T2.
3. Connect the L3 power supply wire to terminal T3.
Step 5: Test the Motor
1. Turn on the power supply.
2. The motor should start running in star (wye) configuration.
3. If the motor is running in the wrong direction, reverse any two of the power supply wires.
4. After a few seconds, the motor will automatically switch to delta configuration.
