When you attack a face down flip effect card how does the battle play out?

For Both Players:

1. When a face-down Flip Effect Monster is targeted for battle, declare the battle.

2. The opponent has the chance to flip the card face-up and activate any effects.

If Your Opponent Does Not Activate Any Effects:

- Flip the monster face up: Your monster battles the face-up Flip Effect Monster.

If Your Opponent Activates Their Effect:

- When your opponent decides to activate their Flip Monster's effect, all Chain Links resolve at once.

- This can result in your monster no longer being able to attack, or being destroyed due to the Flip Monster's effects.

- You take any battle damage from the battle if applicable.
