- Bring Pokémon that are strong against Ice-type Pokémon. Froslass is an Ice/Ghost-type Pokémon, so it is weak to Fighting-, Rock-, Fire-, Ghost-, Dark-, and Steel-type moves. Some good choices for Pokémon to bring include Lucario, Blaziken, Tyranitar, Gengar, and Skarmory.
- Use strong Field Moves. Field Moves are special attacks that you can use in the Pokémon Ranger games by drawing shapes on the touch screen. Some good Field Moves to use against Froslass include the Fireball, Fire Spin, and Rock Smash.
- Be careful of Froslass's attacks. Froslass can use a variety of powerful attacks, including Ice Beam, Blizzard, and Shadow Ball. Be sure to dodge these attacks or use your Capture Disc to block them.
- Capture Froslass. Once Froslass's HP is low, you can attempt to capture it by throwing your Capture Disc at it. Be careful not to throw your Capture Disc too early, or Froslass will break free. You may need to try capturing Froslass multiple times before you are successful.
