How many stars does a Yu-Gi-Oh card have?

Yu-Gi-Oh! cards can have 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 stars. The number of stars represents the level of a monster card, which is a measure of its power and summoning requirements.

Here's what the different star counts mean:

* 0 stars: Usually indicates a "Normal Monster" or "Effect Monster" with low attack and defense points.

* 1-4 stars: Represents lower-level monsters with relatively low attack and defense points.

* 5-8 stars: Represents higher-level monsters with generally stronger attack and defense points.

Some special cards, like "Fusion Monsters," "Synchro Monsters," "XYZ Monsters," and "Link Monsters," use different methods of determining their "level" or equivalent.
