How to catch skarmory in heartgold?

You can't catch Skarmory in Pokémon HeartGold. Skarmory was introduced in Generation II (Gold, Silver, Crystal), and HeartGold is a remake of those games.

However, you can catch Skarmory in Pokémon SoulSilver, the counterpart to HeartGold.

1. Location: Skarmory is found in the Route 43, a route in the north of the Johto region.

2. Appearance: Skarmory is a Steel/Flying-type Pokémon that resembles a large, metallic bird. It's a fairly common encounter in Route 43.
