In Pokemon pearl pal park what happens if you catch the Pokemon?

In Pokemon Pearl, when you catch a Pokémon in Pal Park, it will be transferred to your main Pokémon storage box back in the Sinnoh region. It will retain the level it had in the Pal Park minigame, and if it was a shiny Pokémon it will remain a shiny Pokémon in your storage.
