How do you unlock your 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier radio after replacing the battery?

Here are instructions for reconnecting battery power using radio serial codes for cars equipped with Delco-based sound systems:

1. Once the battery has been reconnected and all electronic accessories (i.e.: power mirrors, power locks, chime sounds, etc.) have regained normal performance, turn on the radio/audio power on.

2. Display will indicate "SEC"

3. Enter preset numbers according to radio serial code

4. When complete the unit should indicate that it unlocked (example. LOC)
