Did Fedric Chopin have a wife?

Frédéric Chopin never married, although he had several significant romantic relationships throughout his life. His most famous relationship was with the French novelist George Sand (pseudonym of Amantine Dupin), with whom he lived for nine years, from 1838 to 1847. Other notable relationships included those with Maria Wodzińska, a Polish countess to whom he was briefly engaged, and Jane Stirling, a Scottish pianist and composer.
