Who is Mat Devine?

Mat Devine (born May 12, 1981) is an American musician and songwriter. He was the rhythm guitarist for Kill Hannah, a rock band from Geneva, Illinois.

Career

Devine joined Kill Hannah in 2003, replacing original guitarist Nathan' Kane, who left the band earlier in the year. Devine played with Kill Hannah until the band's hiatus in 2012, appearing on all of their full-length albums except "For Never & Ever" (2003). After Kill Hannah went on hiatus, Devine moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he currently works as a musician, producer, and songwriter. He has worked with artists such as Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill.

In addition to his work with Kill Hannah and as a session musician, Devine has released two solo EPs, "Mat Devine" (2011) and "Electric Soul" (2014). He has also written songs for other artists, including "Love to Love Me" by Taylor Swift, which Devine co-wrote with Swift and Liz Rose.

Personal Life

Devine is married to country music singer-songwriter Erin McCarley. They have one son, Wyatt.
