During the Day:
- For men: Casual, comfortable clothing such as shorts, t-shirts, polos, and jeans (denim or khaki) are acceptable.
- For women: Casual dresses, skirts, shorts, and tops. Swimsuits and cover-ups are fine for pool and beach areas, but not for restaurants or communal spaces.
In the Evenings:
Sandals Resorts has two main dress codes for the evening:
- Casual Elegance: This is the more relaxed option and allows for dress shirts, slacks, sandals, and dress shoes (closed toe) for men. For women, this can include cocktail dresses, skirts and blouses, or dressy pants and tops.
- Formal: This is the more formal option and requires long pants and closed-toe shoes for men. Women can wear cocktail dresses, evening gowns, or formal pantsuits.
Attire that is NOT allowed at Sandals Resorts:
- Swimwear, t-shirts, tank tops, and shorts are not permitted in restaurants or communal spaces after 6:00 pm.
- Flip-flops, crocs, and other casual footwear are not permitted in restaurants or communal spaces.
- Sportswear, athletic clothing, and excessively revealing or casual clothing are also not permitted.
General Guidelines:
- While there are dress code guidelines, the primary focus is on guests feeling comfortable and relaxed while enjoying their vacation.
- Sandals Resorts provides a more detailed dress code policy upon check-in.
