Lil Twist was born Christopher Lynn Moore Jr. in Columbus, Ohio. He began rapping at the age of 12 and released his first mixtape, "It's Going to Be Twist," in 2008. The mixtape caught the attention of Lil Wayne, who signed Lil Twist to Young Money Entertainment in 2009.
Lil Twist released his debut album, "Don't Get It Twisted," in 2011. The album peaked at number 12 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
