How does jal tarang works?

Jal tarang is a musical instrument that consists of a set of bowls filled with water of varying levels. When the bowls are struck with a mallet, they produce musical notes. The pitch of the note depends on the amount of water in the bowl.

The physics behind the jal tarang is based on the principle of standing waves. When a bowl of water is struck, the water vibrates and creates a wave that reflects off of the surface of the water. The wave then bounces back and forth between the surface of the water and the bottom of the bowl, creating a standing wave. The frequency of the standing wave depends on the length of the water column.
