On October 19, 1996, 29,920 people danced in unison in the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan USA, to the song "Achy Breaky Heart" with Billy Ray Cyrus performing live. The event was organized by the United Way of Pontiac with the help of local sponsors.
