What is cambar system software?

The Cambridge Automated Message Brokering, Addressing, and Routing System (Cambar) is an open-source distributed message passing, routing, and event routing service written in Common Lisp and running on top of the Distributed Object Everywhere Middleware.

The Cambar system is designed to be fault-tolerant, with message delivery guaranteed, even if the network partitions. It is also highly scalable, and can handle large volumes of messages. Cambar is used in a variety of applications, including the messaging middleware for the Apache Camel Enterprise Integration Framework, the messaging system for the JBoss Seam framework, and the event routing system for the OpenStack cloud computing platform.
