Which party rules in goa?

As of January 2023, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rules in Goa. The BJP-led coalition, headed by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, enjoys a majority in the 40-member Goa Legislative Assembly with the support of 20 MLAs. The main opposition party in the state is the Indian National Congress (INC), which holds 11 seats. The Goa Forward Party, along with 3 independent MLAs, provides outside support to the BJP government.
