Where did Chinese dance originate from?

The roots of Chinese dance can be traced back to the Chinese Neolithic period, with evidence of dance in the 5th millennium BC in Yangshao culture painted pottery, pottery figurines and bone carvings and in the Longshan culture. Early Chinese dance mainly originated from religious ceremonies, sacrificial activities, and folk customs, and was closely related to the ancient Chinese philosophy and cultural traditions.
