Step 1: Introduction

- The dancers stand facing each other, holding hands.

- Holding hands right and left, the couple take 3 graceful waltz-like steps forward.

- On count 4, the lady swings her castanet with her right hand, while the gentleman gracefully bows the head, placing the right hand around the waist.

Step 2: First Figure

- Facing each other, the man gracefully lifts the lady's right hand above her head as she gracefully bows her head.

- The man circles the lady with 3 small steps, beginning right, then left, then right.

- The lady curtsies and slowly raises to face her partner.

- Dancers return to the start position, facing each other, and join their hands.

Step 3: Second Figure

- The couple holds hands and takes three waltz steps forward.

- On count four, the lady's castanet is used to lightly strike her partner's hand.

- The lady then steps forward with her left foot and curtsies while simultaneously raising her left arm.

Step 4: Third Figure
