Step 1: Basic Steps
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and arms by your side.
- Step forward with the right foot and cross it in front of the left foot, bending the left knee slightly.
- Step back with the left foot and cross it behind the right foot, bending the right knee slightly.
- Repeat the steps above with alternating lead foot.
Step 2: Side-to-Side Steps
- Step to the right with the right foot and place the left foot next to it, bending both knees slightly.
- Step to the left with the left foot and place the right foot next to it, bending both knees slightly.
- Repeat the steps above with alternating lead foot.
Step 3: Turning Steps
- Take two steps forward, then turn to the right on the third step, pivoting on the left leg.
- Continue to turn to the right while stepping forward.
- Repeat the steps above, alternating direction.
Step 4: Jumping Steps
- Step forward with the right foot, then jump up, hopping on the right foot and bending the left knee towards the chest.
- Land softly with both feet on the floor and repeat the step with the left foot.
Step 5: Advanced Sua Dance:
Combine Steps 1-4 to create various Sua dance routines, adding hand gestures, head tilts, and facial expressions.
