Is a french horn used as jazz instrument?
The French horn, also known as simply the horn, is not widely regarded as a primary jazz instrument. While it has been used occasionally in jazz bands, it does not feature as prominently as other brass instruments such as the trumpet, trombone, or saxophone.
The most common brass instruments in jazz are Trumpet, Trombone, and Bass Trombone. French horns are not very common in jazz music.
