What was the first group Jay-Z in?

The first group that featured Jay-Z was a rap group called The Jaz. The group was formed in 1989 in Brooklyn, New York. Along with Jay-Z the other member of the group was Jaz-O. The group recorded only one album, "Word To The Jaz," which was released in 1990.
