Who were the Motown funk brothers?

The Funk Brothers were a group of studio musicians who played on many of the hit records produced by Motown Records in the 1960s and 1970s. The group was led by bassist James Jamerson, and also included guitarists Eddie Willis and Robert White, pianists Joe Hunter and Earl Van Dyke, drummer Benny Benjamin, and percussionist Jack Ashford.

The Funk Brothers were responsible for creating the signature sound of Motown, which was characterized by its catchy melodies, driving rhythms, and soulful vocals. They played on some of the most iconic Motown hits of all time, including "My Girl" by The Temptations, "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye, and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)" by Stevie Wonder.

The Funk Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.
