Where did Ribbon Dancing Originate?

Ribbon Dancing originated in China during the Han Dynasty(206 B.C-220A.D). Chinese emperors found ribbon performance enchanting because they enjoyed being surrounded by colorful, flowing movements while they feasted, drank and were entertained by musicians and acrobats.
